Most do like tort, it's just not for a good many of us here. But it is against international law to but tort on a Thunderbird.
Was that a good thing? I've been told that kind of thing before as well and I don't think it was meant as kind advice.Yes, and just was told what to do with it
Thanks JIO, I appreciate the perspective. I think I will put the black back on and see how it goes. That pearloid look was a thing when I did that and now that it's changed colors it just doesn't look good to me.
The black and matte parchment with the darkstar looks perfect like that.

you could possibly have the original set which makes them more expensive than what you paid for the amp….
if you get bored you can come to my place and we can throw them on the tester….

strings came from some other bass so who knows…..left the bass in the heat of the car all day as well….but yes, was playing pretty aggressive fingerstyle….fortunately it was at the end of the set….
Same with my last string break. Aggressively popping the G in the final song of the last set. Just had to play the rest of the song in a different position.among other things…

I'm trying this on my current build - it's a fuzz cap and very blue. I'm wiring it to the push-pull tone pot.

I have one of those that I bought months ago but never put in. Wasn’t sure it would work well for bass, although the videos on guitar sound pretty good. Have you tried one on bass yet?
My most likely recipient would be the China Goth where I was contemplating installing two stacked vol/tone pots with the neck using a .022 cap and the bridge using the fuzz cap. Since I rarely use the bridge I would have the fuzz off, but if fuzz was wanted I’d be able to roll in the bridge pup for a wet/dry blend or even solo.
