Happy Friday!

I've checked out the gigbags of both Ritter and the Gator Pro for T-birds. And the Ritter has from what I've read better straps and more padding, the Gator Pro one seems to have issues with the straps. I think when I get my bird I'll go for the Ritter. What do you guys think?
Which Gator and which Ritter? I had a Ritter that was the worst bag I've ever used and gave it away with extreme prejudice. It looked like this:

Very happy to hear about the potential job and hope all the discussions progress well. Continued prayers for not only for a job, but wisdom along the way.

I know. When I saw the price I about choked. I'll make anyone a deal: My white '76 (wit a '76 #) half all of that price, for you all only! My wife paid a little too much of mine from a legit vintage dealer, but at half off this list price I'd still come out ahead. I hope you land one some day, but not that one at that price. I do like mine, but not that much.
Thank you Donnie. I’m expecting other offers next week. It’s looking like Geico may have done me a favor.

Ok, I don't know anything at all about that Ritter model, but I can absolutely vouch for the protection that Gator gives. I've carried my Thunderbird around in one for nine years now and I can't tell you how many times it's gotten smacked in the NYC subway and even the bag looks new. The only reason I replaced it was because I have the old style shoulder straps, which are held in at the top with carabiners that are sewn in, so they're not replaceable, and one of those carabiners broke. The newer ones have the shoulder straps sewed in, so it's no longer an issue. I was just going to get another ProGo because I love it that much, but I got the even more protective Icon from Gator, just because it's more protective (they drove a car over one and the guitar was fine) and the bottom is a little wider, so the Thunderbird fits even better. I like the pocket layout better in the ProGo.

My suggestion. If you want a case for anything but an Epiphone Pro/Sixties or a Non-reverse, get the Gator hard shell Thunderbird case or the Go Pro that Ken recommends. For a VP/Sixties you are limited to the Epiphone Thunderbird case.
The idea was a gigbag so I can carry it on my shoulders. I can't do that with a case.

I have the same requirement because I walk or use the subway to go everywhere. The hardshell case is enormous and completely unwieldy on public transportation. I only use my hardshell cases for bringing to a luthier and leaving. But now that I have the Icon, I may use my ProGo for that purpose, so I don't have to rely on a friend with a car to give me a ride.
