About the only 'sports' car I've ever really wanted. Either version originally, but now the "wagon".

Was sold in Brazil, they are rare.

I had the release surgery a few months ago. Thanks! All good information and advice - I will hash it out next Monday with the surgeon to chart the best course.
Yes, but built that way.
Well, late to the party, but I read through to make sure no one had this covered already. AHEM!I don't think there's much sound difference if you are using different sizes of the same strings. It's more a matter of feel and stiffness.
Ah HAH! So YALP (yet another lefty problem).AftEr Donnie shamed me the other day about the fretboard on the ‘21 looking dry, I gave it some oil.
I still had the stuff out so I did the ‘13 today as well. The TR needed a tweak and I reset the string height to eliminate a bit of buzz. This is the bird with a couple of high/loose frets at 9 and 12, so getting the correct string height and keeping the action reasonably low can be a chore. It’ll be going to John Caruthers to fix that and some end sprout. I don’t want to be embarrassed by handing over a poorly setup bass to the guru of setting up basses.
Anyway I was thinking about Ken’s issue with the Babicz and the intonation fork blocking the front bridge bolt. Here’s a pic with the intonation pattern of a Babicz set for right handed play with 45-105 SIT Power Steels:

Sorry Ken. I know being a lefty can be a challenge.
Here’s the freshly hydrated ‘13:

I have a "Spaceballs-The Baseball Jersey" on order. Amongst other things it'll say "COMB THE DESERT" and "We Ain't Found $#@*!". The name on the back will be: COL. SANDURZ*. Number 87(year the movie was made). File pic:

As we engineers say, the taste of Guinness is inversely proportional to the square of the distance from St. James Gate.
Let's watch it with the politics please - thanks.

I could get behind the Cult of Guinness!
I can’t wait to taste it in Ireland. 2023 is the aim.
Hey there! They weren’t a bad little jigger in their day. Look this one even has a vinyl roof!

I had the release surgery a few months ago.
Ring finger on the right hand would lock in a closed position if I made a fist, very painful to pop it back into position. Went the Cortisone route at first and it worked fine at reducing the inflammation enough to allow the finger to move freely. Then I accidentally hit the finger on something and it started locking up again. Got another shot and all was fine for another six months but eventually started locking up again. Went back for a third shot and the doc said nope. Apparently the cortisone shots weaken the tendons, one maybe two are ok but if that doesn’t solve the issue (and doc said the shot is only about 25% successful) then it’s on to the release surgery.
If I were to do it all over again, I would have still gone with the first shot but then moved on to the surgery if it wasn’t successful. The surgery was a cake walk, and done in the docs office with local anesthesia. Recovery was relatively quick and I’m at about 95% now.
The Fellowship of the stRing?Brother Ken's fellowship is NOT a cult. Something you outsiders wouldn't understand.
