Brian May from Queen only used Ovations as acuostic guitars at least when Freddie was alive. from 75-91. I think he uses a Gibson acoustic these days though...

I have to admit, they are beautiful instruments. I never got used to the feel (never felt normal), the sound was different, but just OK. User error possibly there. And neck dive. It was light.I bought a new 4003S last year, it's still back in Mass. No, they're good guys over there, just a little particular. They were like that at the Rickenbacker forum too, that was the first forum I ever joined I think. Rickresource

The new Rics (one I had anyway) had both options. Bull the vol knob and it gave the vintage tone. Thinned the tone a fair amount.
The few times I tried scotch I didn't care for it, so I left it alone. Maybe what I had wasn't worth drinking. Eventually noticed that people I knew that liked bourbon didn't care for scotch and versa visa.
I was going for a Bootsy look. Those are “holographic” vinyl inlay decals.
I was going to comment on the shape of the control cavity cover.

Give Macallan 12 year a try sometime. I like it neat with some sparkling water on the side - Some folks add a few drops of water to it. It's really a good Single malt without being expensive, perfect to have a little on an Autumn evening after dinner.

gave this fella it's first proper workout with the band last night and I have to say that I come away even more impressed with it. I play hard on a lot of songs, this bass is sturdy, I flogged it for about two hours and it sounded fantastic, it even still has the stock strings on it. What a solid, well made bass. I'm impressed all over again, great job, Gibson!

The problem is that very few people know how to work on the older technology. The guy I gave it to does those, B3s, etc.. Unfortunately he's quite old-if he's still alive(his health was already bad when I gave it to him 2 years ago).Chick Corea used on with Return To Forever, Tom Coster played one in Santana and many others used it too. It was the flagship of the YC series if I'm not mistaken. Pity yours died.
I'm not a keyboard player by any means but if I was looking for an organ I'd probably get one of those old YC's. I have CS-5 and CS-01 synths and CP-30 piano, why break the circle?
I hated scotch-until I tried a good single malt. Discovered I hated blended scotch.
Tailwind so only 13.5 hours and only another 4 pages. Slackers
