Thunderbird Club

Good to know - if I ever score one for cheap, I want to spray it with Stew Mac's amber clear nitro, and do some creative distressing.

...like this actual late '60s aged Pelham blue example - (modded with a Stingray style bucker)

Glen Campbell was one of a number of guitarists who used their acoustics, and I think the electric version. Maybe not this one. I'm ignorant about how many models they may have had.

He also played a Teisco T-60 Del Rey baritone early on -

- this one was actually his.

Agreed re EH Geo. I like my Big Muff Pi to get some truly gritty dirt. And their stuff is well made and reasonably priced.

I always loved EH. I still have a rams head BMP for guitar. But both my (purchased new) bass pedals started doing feedback howling tricks about the time the warranty ran out. 8^(

It would be cool to have a sticky for this club listing every different type of Tbird shaped object in the club along with some pics. We have Spector, Hamer, Jackson, Greco, Orville, Lull, Epiphone, Gibson, Homemade, Warmoth, and countless others.

Either a sticky or a wiki

I stupidly passed on a LPB +or- 70 Mustang that a Sacto music store had in 2016. It had a very similar look. They wanted 1K for it. In hindsight, that was a great price.

The Debutantes were an underrated pioneering all female band. They changed players often, but had a great sound. Little Steven pays tribute to them on his LSUG channel. And deservedly so. They influenced the Go Gos and the Bangles, just to name a couple.

thanks man…like a Rhodes, in a class by themselves due to their timbre generating method….with respect to Hammonds, you’d be surprised how “modifiable” they can be…..

They have enough parts to build just about anything from one.
