I have a Centurion with the same parametric EQ and compressor. It is unkillable!Honestly, those heads are a great buy if in good working order.
And in that condition with that cab….
Yezzireee.
I wonder what Bond would say…..

hybrid cause it has a tube? Ashdowns are also an option…I considered one years ago. I agree with Jeff.
If you want a clean sound (which this has), I'd consider an old SWR 350. If you want warmer, Ampeg 3-Pro had five tubes--the most of any hybrid I know of. Several other good options as well.
Nice! Looking forward to seeing what ya got!NBD approaches. Other gear, too. 8^)
Three items.
Three class act vendors.
I am so stoked.
Anybody touched one of these ? I'm thinking of going hybrid . View attachment 4888775

Just because.
Just in case you all know someone looking for a Rhodes, I don’t think these folks know what they have. Looks super clean. Located in the Bay Area and not too far from me. I see these for anywhere from $1,500 to $2,500.

I hope your big-eye (ceramic?) kitty 'head' is secured to the cab with putty. I played a gig where I set an overpriced glass of scotch on my amp and started the show. 1/2 way through the 1st song it 'gravitated' to the floor ~krash!~ Live & learn...
Wait just a doggone minute..... When did the 2x15 show up????
Peavey furniture is good for Cali. Earthquake proof.
Speaking of Peaveys, this is $275 on FB Marketplace. It’s got it all: parametric EQ, graphic EQ, (speaker saving)compressor, and look at the patching you can do. And 2 ohm capable.

Looks like you and your guitarist got into a nasty fight and you both have some nasty bruises to prove it.![]()
Both nice looking Epiphone Thunderbird IV models. If you can, play both. Pay attention to overall weight, neck thickness, neck dive and sound. If one feels and sounds better to you, that’s the one to get.
Yes, I can confirm the neck plate bit, mine is from 2016. Best bass I've ever played, both in feel and level of confort when playing. Outclasses every other bass I've ever tried in any music shop out, even more expensive basses or brands. These "cheaper" "lower level" Epiphones are pure gold, honest.
As GBassNorth said, these are the Epi Thunderbird IV model. Newer Epi Thunderbirds have slimmer necks than older versions but I believe the pickups have not really changed over the years. They also went with (what I assume is) a cheaper to produce neck plate instead of using the chrome version that contained the serial number. I think the newer Birds have the serial number on the back of the headstock.
I haven't tried the Hartke but I absolutely love my Orange Terror Bass 500. Great big beefy tone, even makes a Jazz bass sound goodAnybody touched one of these ? I'm thinking of going hybrid . View attachment 4888775
For those who don't remember life before tuners they were nothing short of revolutionary. No arguments with the guitar player about who's right and it immediately made just about any bands performance better. Not only that but doing your own setups became a breeze. Once I got a tuner I could never be without one again.I posted about that here today too and I think mine is the same one except silver and mine still works too. Nope looked again, mine's a little different but it's a Korg and I bought it during the 80's too.
