beauty! did it have the 350 originally?

The Queen gave me an idea in another thread here, I think it's time we have an official theme, whaddya think?
The bird is the word!
I never do this sorta thing, but what the heck.
It is that day for me.
Happy Monday and that other thing.
I came very close to buying a '68 Corvette in 1980. I could have had it for $1000, but I had just bought my Camaro for the same amount of money. So, no Corvette for me. It worked out OK. I still have the Camaro. That’s breathtaking! If you get a ‘57 or ‘59 I’m movin in with you!
I like the ‘57 model best in the C1 series, but only because it’s my birth year. I like the C2 model best for its racing heritage with ‘67 as my favorite year. I had two C3 models, a ‘71 and a ‘74 but my favorite year for the C3 would be ‘73 with the rubber nose and chrome tail look or the ‘69 for the high performance engine options. At the time of the C4 launch I really liked that model and almost bought one but I’m kinda glad I didn’t, I don’t think the look aged very well compared to previous models. The current offering is a super car by any standard except cost and has a definite Ferrari vibe, but I’d still take a ‘57 or ‘67 over it.
Hey, a Gen 1 or 2 Camaro is pretty hot in my book! Love the ‘69 as well as the ‘70 split bumper.I came very close to buying a '68 Corvette in 1980. I see the hat and the sandals, but the smile makes me think it's an impostor. No bass face.Chucks got an MB210 and Ashdown EVO
(which you can’t see sitting on top the 210) here.
The man was getting a killer tone.

I'm going to rescind my HATE NR looks, that white one is very nice. I also like the fanned fret one GBassNorth has, so I guess it's just the pickguard I don't like
Mine is a '68 convertible. Sometime this spring or summer, it's likely to be moving under its own power again. Then I can post pictures. Even Chucky might smile.Hey, a Gen 1 or 2 Camaro is pretty hot in my book! Love the ‘69 as well as the ‘70 split bumper.

As I recall, Hercules stands fold flatter than any other stand I have used. They are great stands for gigging.Thanks. I use the Hercules wall hangers and they're great. But for a free-standing one I need portability or no sale.
Agree. I like the Camaros a lot.Hey, a Gen 1 or 2 Camaro is pretty hot in my book! Love the ‘69 as well as the ‘70 split bumper.
The white one is a stage bass I built in 2008, powered by a Dimarzio Model G.I'm going to rescind my HATE NR looks, that white one is very nice. I also like the fanned fret one GBassNorth has, so I guess it's just the pickguard I don't like

Very nice color. Guess I'm just not a fan of the pickguard shape/lines, but I'm sure Engle could sort something out/improve it. In any case, I'm sure most owners like them so my opinion is meaningless...Ya might even like this one(or not):
