Tore me up!Lord have mercy! That's lightning in a bottle magic. I had never seen that and am not ashamed to say that gave me chills from about half way to past the end. Thanks for posting that Miles.

How about this for club band?
Here’s the GS1000 Pro+ all folded up as small as it will go next to a Hercules all folded up as small as it will go…

the GS is about 3” x 5” x 21” long all folded up and weighs about 2/3 as much as the Hercules. Both stands work equally well, but the GS is more transport friendly.
There are plenty of Corvettes down here. One like that one pictured (but yellow) one suburb over, so I see it around quite a bit. Of course most have been converted to RHD.
How about Rotosound 77 Jazz Bass Flats?thank you thank you!
I’m honored to be in the company of kind people with such great taste.
the stock pickups sounded rockin’ but were humming/microphonic. I hope the Lollars keep the vibe of what I liked so much about the stock ones without the added noise. Looking forward to contributing more when I get it back and learn a thing or two to make it worth everyone’s time.
So far I’ve tried a bunch of strings on this one and the G2 Simmons model. Really liked the Gibson strings the Simmons one came with but enjoyed the Roto 66’s, optima golds, and Dunlop Super Brights most of all. Those Dunlops are super playable and most versatile but have a tad less dirty growl than the Gibson and Roto strings. Open to suggestions!
Good choice on the ‘71 Vette! The C3 years have a very timeless design and are still one of the better buys in collectible cars.

As promised; sometimes a lil´boomy; Still need to learn how to tame knobs.

If you had the ‘75 convertible it was very collectible since it was the last year for the roadster (until a come back much later on). I had a 1974 T-Top in Laguna Grey and at the same time bought my wife a 1971 Roadster in Bright Red. I don’t have pictures of them anymore but they looked identical to these…

Beautiful cars and fun to drive. Wish I still had them.
I sold my 1974 in 1988 for about $8000 to buy a top of the line Apple Computer (Mac II) with a whopping 150meg hard drive + 8 meg RAM drive, 14” color monitor, color laser printer and 64 meg tape back up unit for some graphic arts stuff I was doing on the side at the time. Fast forward to today and that Mac set up is worth about what you’d pay for a rubber door stop and the corvette is bumping $50,000. Yep, I’ve made plenty of bone head decisions in my life.
I never do this sorta thing, but what the heck.
It is that day for me.
Happy Monday and that other thing.
