Storing it is not the issue. Transporting it is a challenge.

Here's another stand option meant for offset guitars and basses. And it seems to fold up to about 12".

Those scare me. I much prefer those previous discussed where they weight of the bass acts as a help to stabilize the stand and the stand isn't fighting the bass in some ways. With the weight at the bottom, but hanging from the top, it's almost self-stabilizing in a sense. Just my take.

A second NAD/NRD! Rumble 100 showed up at the house today! I toyed with the idea of just getting a 200, but if I can ride 100 miles at a shot on my bicycle, I can jolly well carry 2 amps. Plus, it’s GP-approved! Gotta say, the 2 12s sound awesome (especially with Thunderbirds 8^). And it’s plenty loud for my current purposes.

Just acquired a Mike Lull T5. This has a 35" scale. It came with a hard case... that won't fit anywhere in my car except the passenger seat (in a reclined position). Before I buy another car just to accommodate my newly acquired bass, perhaps someone here might be able to recommend a suitable gig bag for long neck bass.

I really should find a Lull T5 - I'm a little jelly!

I'm going to rescind my HATE NR looks, that white one is very nice. I also like the fanned fret one GBassNorth has, so I guess it's just the pickguard I don't like
Chuck’s clear pg NR was the first one I recall getting excited about (besides anything Leon touched).

for those that who slap….this guy RULES…
totally enamored by the tone of that JD (John Diggins) into Trace Elliots…..

He has skill and talent I’ll never have, not even a fraction of it.
He also has style and sound I’ll never want, not even a fraction of it.
But, I’ll repeat, there’s some serious skill and talent there.

Happy NAD! I gotta say I’ve been impressed with the few Rumbles I’ve played through at GC. Seem to be a really solid bang for the buck amp.

I once had a conversation in MySpace (remember those pages?) with the drummer Phil Gould. He was as big fan of Doug Rauch as I am. Mark King was/is too, actually. He started as a drummer, BTW.
