Thunderbird Club

To be fair, Monday was a holiday for a lot of people.
Yes, I thought of that as well. But that wasn't what anyone at Fedex was saying and they were puzzled as t whay it sat all day Monday. The lady told me it got changed from 2 Day Air to Ground buy someone at Fedmess. It's not supposed to happen since the shipper paid for 2 Day, but she said it's increasingly a problem. (They also now make no promises about 2 Day as of about 6 months ago when they changed the fine print.) She actually said that people should not pay for 2 Day as it's highly likely that it will get downgraded at the whim of someone at Fx. Even said it's kind of rip off that people are paying for 2 Day when they are getting Ground, so just pay for Ground.

As much as love to hear Aretha Franklin sing, why is she considered the "Queen" when Gladys is second fiddle to her or anyone? Aretha was likely my favorite singer for a number of years. But when she was PO'ed when someone else was referred to as "Queen" she made it known SHE was the "Queen." Always loved Gladys as well. Mavis tops for me.

Mavis is tops for me too.

As Skyhooks sung in 1975, “Ego is not a Dirty Word”.

If I did not have an ego I would not be here tonight
If I did not have an ego I might not think that I was right
If you did not have an ego you might not care the way you dressed
If you did not have an ego you'd just be like the rest
Ego is not a dirty word
Ego is not a dirty word
Ego is not a dirty word
Don't you believe what you've seen or heard

word - the problem is the word that many times follows ego ... "maniac"

Sorry for the weird request, so PM if anyone has an idea. We have some kind of really small moth infestation in the pantry. From when my wife stored some bird seed in there. They fly to the ceiling meets the wall and glue themselves or something with what must be eggs. I have to scrape them to get them out, a vac won't do it. They also eat through some food packaging. I'm not wanting to take everything out for fear they will find other places in the house. Any suggestions? Tried a bug light catcher and it never caught a thing. Would some kind of infrared light kill them like germs? Tired of fighting and really don't want to take everything and leave it on the deck to find out what might have them in it or not, and don't really want to throw everything in boxes or soft packaging out.

Spray with Captain Jack’s Dead Bug Brew. It’s safe for humans, pets, and fruits/vegetables. I think the technical name is spinosad.

True.

Should have said earlier that a rare (very rare now) Maton Wildcat electric guitar was used by the lead guitarist Red Symons for recording this song and the album of the same name.. Later stolen from the Maton factory’s museum area. Sad.
