I'm a cyclist/ex racer that has been 'intimate' with the pave many times over the years and wish you a sound recovery. :thumbsup:

Lacerated your liver? Dang, brother, you don't screw around. Go big or go home, huh? Get better and best of luck with school and such! Just remember these two things I finally learned in college (good thing I learned something, I crammed four years of college into 19). First, you don't have to like it, you just have to do it. Second, remember that it's a means to an end. Keep your eye on the prize and just knock it out. Also, don't bother with all nighters, they don't help and they cut into the required Thunderbird Time!

There's a goth on ebay right now. It's a steal at $100 with 1 day to go. There are only 2 bids on it, might have something to do with it being listed as an Epiphone XII bass…doesn't show up when you do a "Thunderbird" search.
A deal like that might help you recuperate!

I'm going to have to resist sniping that deal! I've been wanting to create an Ibby-bird and I would love to mate a loaded TBird body with my 24 fret Ibby neck. Let me know if I can go for it. Don't want to bid against a fellow Talk Bass TBird fan.

Be careful - That's how I started...

Got a white one to match my Goth. Then I got a metallic red and have been hunting for a pelham blue ever since, to match the red one. in my search I stumbled upon a silverburst. Then I had to get a vintage sunburst to match the vintage one. And the list goes on... :)

Pelham blue with the hardshell case on craigslist by me a few months ago. I regret not buying it and check the site every few days to see if it gets relisted.
