to think you could get the elephant motor in that......I friend's sister had one in a dusty blue. She kept it through med school and then law school. I think it had a 318, but I wonder if she ever realized she should have kept it!
LOL - it’s taken me decades to perfect my perversion, thanks for noticing. You are all sick puppies.
Ken is the one who went all S&M with the Cobalt Rounds....You are all sick puppies.
that natural Guild in the back.....I brought this home yesterday, Epiphone 60s (vintage pro)Thunderbird number four! That makes two white and two tobacco sunburstAs you all know I think very highly of these basses and I still think that it is the best Thunderbird out there and the best built since the original 63-65 birds. Still a bargain at $749 MAP. These next to my 60s Nonreverse Thunderbirds are my favorite bass and I find myself playing them more and more.View attachment 5157255 View attachment 5157256

Miles, can your Dragon Lord series books be obtained in hard bound editions? It's a me, Milesio!
You can buy softback or ebook online, or direct from me if you want a signed physical copy. The cost is about the same either way for the physical copy.
The heck with the Guild, I’m drooling over that Ric to the right of it. Probably have to sell half my Tbird collection to buy it. Ain’t gonna happen.that natural Guild in the back.....![]()
I’ve checked the website before. It looks like a very cool store. They even carry vinyl and CDs. You’re fortunate to have it near you.I've been associated with the HOG since 1976, they have been unbelievably generous over the years.
There’s a very cool restomod ‘68 Barracuda on eBay right now that would make a fantastic driver/weekend show car. They dropped a 5.7 Hemi crate in it and cleaned up the interior/exterior very nicely. I’m more of a 1970+ ‘Cuda guy but this older one is very cool for under $50K. Would make a nice addition to the AMX in your garage.to think you could get the elephant motor in that......![]()
You are the most convincing hologram I have ever met.No. But the inspiration for it was an insane drug deal a friend and I were involved in circa 1974. The first chapter is all true right up to the point where I died. (Hint: IRL, I didn't die. AFAICT.)
That's one of the reasons I found it difficult to bond with the one I had. It just didn't feel the same in my hands as a nitro finished Gibson. I have had poly finished instruments that felt great. It wasn't one of those for whatever reason.Nice! I love both of mine and am forever grateful you took the time talking with me and pointing me to the VPs. If I could not have my '64 and could only have one bass, it would be a VP. The white one has GHS flats and the used burst has SIT Super Steels and both sound amazing. If they were only in nitro instead of poly.... But you can't generally have everything. Not that the poly feels bad, I just love the feel of old nitro.
My gain! Thanks for not liking itThat's one of the reasons I found it difficult to bond with the one I had. It just didn't feel the same in my hands as a nitro finished Gibson. I have had poly finished instruments that felt great. It wasn't one of those for whatever reason.
They seem a little confused about the transmission. It's an automatic 5-speed manual. Or something. It sure looks good anyway. There’s a very cool restomod ‘68 Barracuda on eBay right now that would make a fantastic driver/weekend show car.
