Thunderbird Club

Teflon tape did the trick and less bulky. Fixed and now back in action. Anyone ever seen this before? Something must have rattled around on my trip back home from the GTG. A lot of hours for a simple fix.
No, I haven't seen anything like that happen before. It's almost like the insulation on the hot lead got damaged somehow.

From you, i'll happily take my slap. :woot::smug:
Was it at this point that I goosed you? :roflmao:

You two know this is the Thunderbird forum, right?

A steal years ago even!

In the mid-late '90s G&L's usually sold for under $1k, $7-$800 usually, sometimes less. Same with Kubicki Ex-Factors. I owned a couple at those prices. Gradually they've both gone up and now anything close to $1k for either would be hard to find. Both have stood the test of time as good then (a steal at those prices) - still good today (still worth the higher asking price).

they wanted 700 bucks for this at a pawn shop in Eureka, and Rosa kept insisting I get it (when does that happen?) but just to heavy for me…..should have bought and sold it in retrospect…..:banghead:
didn’t know they were so highly prized…

When your wife says to buy, you should listen!
