Higher proof whisky has some flavour, but you need to add water before drinking to bring the alcohol content down and make it more drinkable.

Jazzmasters here. I love them so much I built a Telemaster when I wanted a telecaster.
On the rocks serves a purpose.
Bought the Epifani T-212. Should be here in about a week, we’ll see how well it plays with the Musicman HD150 amp (which might still need a visit with our resident amp expert Chuck). Or I might try to find a nice all tube or SS head, who knows.
Noooo! The ice will bring the proof down but also lower the aromatics evaporation. You’ll have less aromatics going to your nose when you drink (which is 80% of the flavour) while chilling your taste buds and lowering their ability to taste the remaining 20%.
Saying that, I always put Jack Daniel’s (and similar) on ice to lessen the trash flavour.

The BaCH Thunderbirds look fantastic - this pic reminds me to ask something I've been wondering: is the position of the pickup the same on the earliest Thunderbird IIs and Non-Reverse IIs? The pickguard seems to dictate the position on the NRs, always looks the same design with the same placing, but I look at some piccies of the 63/64 (reverse) IIs and that p'up looks nearer the bridge?
Willy there is a TB thread / group for Vintage Japanese Basses.
They have cultures that strongly encourage reading and the acquisition of knowledge. The culture of the United States has long history of denigrating bookish, intellectual people with a counter movement during the space race.
They are slightly softer to the touch than power Steels. And maybe a hair less tension.

And yes, toddlers are hilarious! I sometimes wish we didn't have to grow up... But you gotta do what you gotta do to be able to play a THUNDERBIRD.
I wonder if the pickup heights are the same?
And whether they moved pickup locations between the two. The first is easily user adjustable, the second not so much.
Our current refrigerator is from 1994.
Had a gig last night. Rare occurrence-a stage with more than enuff room. Plenty of headstock space for the 67NR. This was also our last gig of 2023-including NYE
. Our worst year since the band formed in 2014. 
We do have a decent number of bookings for 2024 and were sorta promised more from the venue we played last night. We'll see...

We had a freezer from the early 50s that survived a 90+mile move in a U-Haul trailer in 1981 and was still working when I gave it away in ~2015. Dunno if it's still working. About twice a year ya hadda take everything out and defrost it. Luckily it lived in the garage near the door, so a few minutes with the leaf blower, and done.

I hate them, at least for dealing with leaves. Gimme a rake any day.
Everclear pretty much put me off hard liquor.
