Thunderbird Club

You hear of this a lot it seems. And to think those suckers used to last decades.
The fridge repair guy said pretty much the same thing. I showed him a pic of one I was thinking of getting-no ice maker, no water through the door, nothing "fancy". He said the simpler, the better. Less [stuff] to go wrong.

It's a 6 string banjo, tuned like a gee-tar. He mostly plays guitar with us, especially since most of the places we play don't have room in the band 'area'(almost no stages).
This was shot at our first gig as a group, 8/8/14.
For some effing reason, if I post one video offa our play list, it'll then play all the rest. IDK how to fix that. This was #6 outta 15.

Sounded good! No need to fix it. Liked going to the next song to hear it.

Go big (proof) or go home. In your case, go big and stay home.:smug:
Because of the strict rules I hadda follow back in my 18 wheeling days*, I will have, at most, one beer while I'm out and about. Do all my drinking at home.

* tbh, I drove a 19 wheeler: 18 on the ground, 1 between my ribs and my belt:smug:

We've had two that had water and ice through the door and on both the ice stopped working. Not a big need for ice so we let them stay that way.

This is the way to go. Will last a lifetime.

"I Do all my drinking at home."
There's a good county song starter for those so inclined.

Yeah. My ice maker took a :poop: years ago. This is why God gave us ice trays.:)

Was in SF twice in 67. No need to go back.

Those are pretty much my thoughts on everything. Do I need a washing machine that has a built in scale and adjusts the water level based on the weight? No. I like choosing water levels, but I can do that. And I do not need a refrigerator with Wi-Fi that can tell me my shopping list. It’s pointless and not at all convenient.

Thanks. There's a bunch from 3 separate gigs. The ones on the outdoor bandshell thingy are from 2 different times in 2015.
BTW, in the ones from the bandshell where there's a sax player, we've never rehearsed with him. He'd call out a tune he wanted to do, we'd ask "what key?", he'd say(usually)"C", and away we'd go.

Maybe drinking would help many of all drivers I see today. I think if you can breath you can pass the test. We have issues to internationals wanting to park on church property and go home leaving the rig.... (A side from assuming it's OK to use personally property, the ground is not firm and the blacktop not made for heavy trucks.) It's funny, most of these guys hop out of the tractor with flip flops and can't speak a bit of English. Not sure how that is a good idea or the test is taken.... (I've worked helping internationals for decades, so it's not anti or xenophobic anything.)

But you need a refrigerator with a TV, right? I hear ya. You're thinkin' my thoughts.

I’m up for all of it Rubber Soul and beyond.
Funny thing about the Beatles is that I can recognize their place in music, but I play so many Beatles songs that I don't listen to them by choice at all. My daughter in law, who is in her mid-20s, is a Beatles fanatic, as is a friend who is in her early 40s. I am just old enough to remember the Beatles as putting out new music. They have never gone away after more than 50 years. I can think of worse things. Although I own a lot of their records, kinda by default, I am in Ken's camp on this.
