Well, last Sunday we finally got out and did a charity Christmas Songs hour at a local nursing home. It went off well and the head nurse? attendant? took our group photo for their Facebook page (she did ask permission) and asked if we can come back an extra couple of times next year. I said “love to”.
I’m going to reach out locally for some musicians that would be willing to join us in this voluntary charity group. Selfishly, I want to play - not just sing and use kazoo, washboard or ‘jingle’ bells. I guess we will see how it goes.
I think I want to go back to some of our stuff of a year or three ago where we had a folk, country, maybe Australiana lot of songs. Maybe I just scared prospective people away!
I want to bring a bass out, but will use the ukulele if needed. I’ll even play cowboy chords on an acoustic guitar if forced.

There is a race team here with the big logo on the bonnet - I’ve heard TV announcers pronounce it like trucks.
