Cool idea but maybe a marketing gimmick? This is Chuck's expertise but according to the specs: The design architecture of the Valvebucker circuit is noteworthy, making use of sweet spots found from outside the typical operational points of vacuum tubes, by using relatively low voltages,” Ruokangas writes.
I may be wrong but I don't think voltage starved, tube pre-amps sound as good as the high-voltage tube circuits but if you used a high voltage tube preamp it would be too hot to contain the heat inside of a bass or guitar.

Strength training can help you immensely.
Yep. But we ditched the weight machine about five years ago. It was old and creaky. Mid eighties. I wasn’t suing it much anymore so the wife got rid of it. I am back doing cardio when I’m at the mountain where the Nordic Trac is now that the ankle is pretty well heeled. Trying to get rid of the limp.

agree on every point sir…some ran those type preamp tubes on 12Vdc back in the 90’s….doesn’t sound like anything ever came of that as it turns into a completely different device….marketing hype? probably, I just don’t know enough about that mode of operation to anticipate any of what he says…..sounds good on the clip….that said, not better than any other decent fretless tone out there so….

We'll do more than merely existing my friend!
So many basses!

That white bass right there is worth it!

I was thinking more of working with a live trainer for core training. Plus the machine can't tell you if you're doing something wrong.

A quality FET preamp circuit could probably do the same only much cheaper…and smaller. Add some orange LED’s for that tube glow and magic!

we used to joke about a 12AX7 with just the heater hooked up viewable through a grill in the front panel of a sampling keyboard (Emulator IV) when at Emu Systems in the 90’s….
