Yep. That's another we played. A lot! Again, mid 70s lounge gig(s). Six nights/week for good money. We were whores.

No. But Dunlop makes a set. They are expensive though. But then again, they likely last for several years. I like Dunlop strings.
A live trainer is why my knees still work as well as they do.I was thinking more of working with a live trainer for core training. Plus the machine can't tell you if you're doing something wrong.
don’t see these everyday…
GUILD B302 1978 - AN AMAZING BASS! ALL MAHOGANY WOOD | Reverb
I like Electras…..our queen (who has impeccable taste) was gracious enough to “forget” this last time at the house…..When I was 16 I almost got one of these as my first good bass. Same color and everything. It was in a pawn shop and priced at like $275, something like that. I begged my dad for a loan of $300, (kinda a lot of money in 1983). Finally got the money and went to get it. Tried to haggle and asked if they’d take $250 for it. They said they’d check the file and see what they paid for it.
They came back and said it was mis-marked and that they couldn’t even let it go for the price shown and it went up to a price out of my ability to get it.
I was destroyed!
Ended up buying some P-clone “Electra”. Basically as I recall a piece of junk that ended up with a bad neck. Or probably just in need of a real setup but I was just a dumb kid. Think I traded it away with a ‘73 Duster (with a lot of good parts but with big problems my wallet couldn’t afford to deal with) for a pretty raw ‘68 Satellite that was reliable but pretty trashed all along the right side of the body.
I like it for what it is, but I have absolutely no taste.Uggh! I mean it probably sounds great but...that pg
They actually named those Thunderbirds.Guild made some quirky-shaped guitars/basses - this is one I like, owned by a tb member -

That one sure looks well loved. I bet it's a blast to play.
Apparently so was Sam Elliot. The twelve year old me was so in love with Katherine Ross I didn’t mind that song at all.
Damn. If I had the cash, I’d be all over it.
A Greco EB-2. I didn't know they made something like that. A Greco mudbucker might be an earth mover.Wowza, this Greco popped up on one of my feeds, never seen one like this

I have never seen a Greco EB-2 before at all. It's beautiful, and I'm not even a big fan of black instruments.I believe it was called the SAB-1000, I've seen them in Cherry and Sunburst before, but never black with gold hardware. If only I had the cash!

The only ones I’d sell aren’t worth much. A heavy as all get out Ibby Ergodyne, the 7ender Mustang, and the 7ender PJ. $1400 total. If I’m lucky.Sell a few of your basses, you got plenty of em.![]()
I am, but I also like the gold against it.I have never seen a Greco EB-2 before at all. It's beautiful, and I'm not even a big fan of black instruments.
