Yep. All active. Nope, just one 9 volt. I never thought about whether it would interfere with putting a string-through bridge on the bass. Mine is now fretless, which I'm sure you approve of, but I was happy enough with the stock bridge. Not the frets or the stock electronics. I'm not happy with the stock finish, either. It's a gloomy burst with poly so thick you can probably tow the bass behind an oil tanker all the way to Japan with no effect on the finish at all.

I didn't really pay attention until I saw them in concert in college. Then I couldn't get enough. That was a brilliant band, with a brilliant bassist.
If it just says "PRO" (no Classic, Vintage, etc.), then yes, they're active. Just the usual 9V (equivalent to 6D cells if you ignore current and longevity). Unless you wore the optional belt pack with up to 4 sets in parallel of 6 D cells in series. Then you could play non-stop through an entire festival without changing batteries. Assuming you had enough stimulants to stay awake and more or less functional.

The BaCH is getting closer…
I know I will be yanking the stock pups out, but still trying to decide if I should put a set of Eppi ProBuckers in or if I should go with the Gibson Tbird pups. I’m thinking the Eppi might be closer to a vintage bird sound but the Gibby pup we installed in Marshals BaCH sounded quite nice. Any thoughts out there? @godofthunder59 @TBird1958 and any others, feel free to chime in.

hmmmm.... I'm thinking of converting my JazzBird to a mudbucker, I had one of those dimarzio model 1's in a pbass some time ago.....
I'm eyeballin the 5 string PRO that's on the reverbs.... I keep pondering going five even though I have no practical use for it....
I am also getting a second bass vi... I really should play bass vi more....
