have posted this track played with the BaCH NRIV (TBuckers) at other venues in the past…. this one features the Greco IV…..some say Greco IIs sound better than IVs…. if so, how much better?…ymmv of course….
You know as well as I do that you're just going to have to travel to Seattle with your Greco IV and see if it compares to my II
Meantime...............
I haven't worn those heels in awhile.......Hhhmmmm.........
I said I don’t recall ever seeing one offered by Gibson.
If someone wants a Fender American Ultra Precision I'll sell it cheap and jump on the grenade for this one.Interesting BaCH? Fenderbird on Reverb. I don't recall ever seeing a BaCH Fbird with a Pbass body but I wasn't paying much attention outside of the NRs. I do remember the Red Peter Cook inspired Fbird they made which, IIRC had a neck just like this one. This is the seller I got my recent BaCH NR IV from. He was great to deal with, packing was excellent and shipping was 3 days from Sweden to NY via UPS.

I would love to have a classic car that color! That thing looks like a Hot Rod!
Nah. My ‘13 LPB MIM with now eight year old Chromes is all I need of that ilk. It sounds wonderful.Yeah, it was just typical internet algorithm stuffs that the first post on my IG feed was a split guitar humbucker after readi

You're in round rock Right? You can borrow my SKB iSeries flight case if you want. We're like two and a half hrs apart (around the corner in Texas speak). I'm way more comfortable flying carry-on in a good bag though personally. If I can come up with a reasonably priced TSA-approved flight case, I plan to bring a Greco IV (most likely).
I love that bass. Something G&L should have made. I think the ASAT bass looks silly. I don't mind a Telecaster shape for guitar, but it looks weird for bass. But everybody likes different things.
I ordered 45 -105 sets of Bass Burners and Rockmasters to try them out on my Orville in E tuning.Constantly working to find the right string, for the type of bass (long scale, short, fretless, etc.) that will be tuned (E,Eb,D), and to get the sound I want out of it. Once I find a combo I like, I note it….
Maybe it'll have finger holes like Steve Vai's guitars have handle cutouts.See this post in the separate’64 Epi thread.

One in this color is making me weak in the knees.

I appreciate that! I’d just buy one but the specs say it’s too short. 48” interior won’t quite fit my Epi IV, which is a minimum of an inch shorter than any of my other birds. You're in round rock Right? One of these.
SKB 3i-5014-OP Waterproof ATA Open Cavity Bass Case
Yeah, I didn't remember the exact model but I figured it would fit since the bass it came with has a 35" scale and it had tons of room in there. Gun case is a solid option.I appreciate that! i have contemplated carry on. Part of that will depend on airline. I also thought about getting a firearm flight case and carving the foam up, or a keyboard case with extra foam.

I fly with basses as carry ons regularly. Most of my gigs, as few and far apart as they are, are fly-in gigs.I’d be hugely surprised if an airline will allow a bass as a carry on.

That's cool! What are your tips and tricks for that?I fly with basses as carry ons regularly. Most of my gigs, as few and far apart as they are, are fly-in gigs.
It's my T2K Mk II (Tele 2000 - second iteration) Started life as a brand new '06 CIJ Fender '51 P RI - only the second new bass I've ever bought. I originally finished it in trans brown (1st iteration), but later had Marty Bell finish it in piano-black w/trans brown back. I did all the mods including creme binding and G&L L-2000 pu's & 9v pre. I also did extensive routing under the Gen II Tele-bass pg I cut for it to lighten the ash body. Leo's legacy basically.

Needless to say - it records great -
Southwest lets you carry on, but you need to do the online precheck in and make sure you are 1 of the 1st groups boarding. And the plane has got to be a big enough 1 where it fits in the overhead. But it was always a pain in the ass.......

Not sure it’ll fit in the bin of a 737.
At least not in a hard case anyway
