Yes. She did. And does. When I saw her in about '16 or '17, she was only playing her acoustic guitar. I don't think she plays bass live much anymore. I have most of her cd's.

I am still using two lousy Magami cables with my transmitters. Don't believe the hype on that brand gang. But durable quality cables are expensive.
Not sure if I have a Mogami but I do have a Monster Cable on the boat, that I have occasionally stepped on, and once caught between my toes and bent the jack, and spraining one of the toes on the way to the V-Berth. This happened one night when I was really tired and not paying attention- but it still works!
What brands would you recommend that merit the extra money, if one were to venture into higher end cables?

I've been happy with Pig Hog cables. Maybe not "super high end" but they are quality units for a reasonable price
While still thinking eighties ladies, albeit this was '89, the Katydids couldn't get a break. An unfortunate name choice may have had something to do with it. Nick Lowe produced their first of only two albums. They resurfaced sometime back, but never got the momentum going.
I bought a couple of pairs of 10 and 20 foot cables by New Bee that were for sale on Amazon- they have the fabric covers that are less apt to kink. Don't know how great they are in the long run but are convenient to use-

Yeah, my first thought upon seeing the name was Steely Dan (Katy Lied)-
She has a great voice, and it's a nice melody with nice clarity of production and song craft-
Maybe Caulfield. Or Runway. There's a Canadian brand Ken likes, I forget the name.
Digiflex. Irv turned me onto them. I've been using Whirlwind cables for ages and highly recommend them. Lifetime guarantee and I did use that once with no problem. I tried the Digiflex because I needed a right angle to right angle and Whirlwind didn't make that. Also a fan of them. I like the beefy Neutrik connectors.
