Hard V.That is a great price!
And agreed it’s probably a ‘72.
Wonder what shape neck it is.

Hard V.
If it was a hard V, it would be my idea of pretty great. I like V shaped necks. One more thing I do wrong.Luckily there was no such shape for that time period.
Well I suspect you do. Just a hunch.I have no class. That must be why I don't like SVTs.
I've got a 5er he'd love.@MCF Wrong color, but didn't you want a fiver? Only 950 quid.

That is a great price, even for a '72. And in great shape.Looks like a damn good deal on a pristine, what I would place as a ‘72 P-bass (s/n 372802) for sale locally.

You might like this channel. Jay is my best friend and the drummer/BL/songwriter/studio musician/recording engineer/producer in my band. He does a wide variety of covers from gospel to country to rock to metal and has a ton of lesson videos too.I started learning to play drums in my mid-50s. I'm not great at it, but it sure is fun.
I’ve noticed that every time our Queen is rockin a green bird she’s smiling ear to ear…
Anywhere near Tejon Ranch?I’ll be a docent somewhere. Most likely Fort Tejon and the Ridge Route Museum. My Mom was a docent for a number of years at the La Purisima Mission.

Maybe she needs one of these to drive to the gig in, a bit more on topic than the Subie…

Anything “vintage” 60’s is ridiculous, never mind the 70’s. I remember when you couldn’t give away a 70’s P-bass and now people want big bucks! At one point I wanted to buy a 70’s p bass just to do some horrific things to, because they were the cheapest USA P-basses… and that wasn’t all that long ago!Check out what people are asking for vintage '60s tort pg's...
So true.I remember when you couldn’t give away a 70’s P-bass and now people want big bucks!

Yep. My soon to be retirement house is in the Las Padres National Forest, twenty miles due west from the I5/Frazier Park exit. California born and bred. I’m sitting here now, procrastinating, until I go outside to do more tree trimming/fire clearing. New gig with a clampdown starts Friday. Enjoying a few days of peace and quiet, communing with the bears, coyotes, mountain lions, birds and squirrels. Expect to see the deer in the fall. I have the SVT rig up here in the basement, some of my Thunderbirds. A lot of my cd’s and vinyl in the loft. I love it. Come on by when you get a chance Haji. I’ve got cold Negra Modelo.Anywhere near Tejon Ranch?
I'm gonna volunteer as a dozent. Where's Haji? Nobody knows...he's figured out where to hide to take those naps.
And there’s that beautiful smile again! I’m still gassin for the Jackson.Lovely Thunderbirds! I haven't ever seen a green convertible in that color, fantastic.
My first thoughts on this one were to have it more of an Olive Green metallic....

That is the plan. Hope to be in possession of one in July.If I wanted a 5er, a 2013 or 2014 EB would be what I would go for. They are more expensive than they were, but still far less expensive than anything comparable.
I get it. But my SVT VR rig with the Berg NV610 is pretty sweet. Might change your mind if you fly out for a weekend to visit.I have no class. That must be why I don't like SVTs.
