If it was a hard V, it would be my idea of pretty great. I like V shaped necks. One more thing I do wrong.
Well I suspect you do. Just a hunch.
I like the silver face better than the typical later black SVT look. The silver and blueish look allows it to be in a front room. A black SVT look would not make the cut.
I've got a 5er he'd love.
That is a great price, even for a '72. And in great shape.

Lovely Thunderbirds! I haven't ever seen a green convertible in that color, fantastic.
My first thoughts on this one were to have it more of an Olive Green metallic....
This one was just dumb luck, a buddy on Last Bass Outpost was selling it.

Anything “vintage” 60’s is ridiculous, never mind the 70’s. I remember when you couldn’t give away a 70’s P-bass and now people want big bucks! At one point I wanted to buy a 70’s p bass just to do some horrific things to, because they were the cheapest USA P-basses… and that wasn’t all that long ago!
Yep. My soon to be retirement house is in the Las Padres National Forest, twenty miles due west from the I5/Frazier Park exit. California born and bred. I’m sitting here now, procrastinating, until I go outside to do more tree trimming/fire clearing. New gig with a clampdown starts Friday. Enjoying a few days of peace and quiet, communing with the bears, coyotes, mountain lions, birds and squirrels. Expect to see the deer in the fall. I have the SVT rig up here in the basement, some of my Thunderbirds. A lot of my cd’s and vinyl in the loft. I love it. Come on by when you get a chance Haji. I’ve got cold Negra Modelo.

I bought my white BaCH from Bill @saltymonkey - great guy to do business with! Best packaging job on any bass I’ve ever purchased bar none! It is white Wednesday, so I’ll get us BaCH on topic and off this green goodness…
That is the plan. Hope to be in possession of one in July.
I get it. But my SVT VR rig with the Berg NV610 is pretty sweet. Might change your mind if you fly out for a weekend to visit.
