Stop posting those '51 & '54 P-bass photos, I feel a g.a.s. building up. Three of those in my arsenal and I still need at least one. A normal unmodded '54 style (2 tone burst with a white pickguard) plus a one with two wide range buckers in Squier Rascal positions and one '72 style with an added wide range 'bucker in a Stingray-ish position ala Kenny Gradney. That's three actually, I need three. 3.

‘72 you say?
I kinda did what you’re suggesting.

Until the mesh fails and they have to really cut you open to fix the mess. Hey, you can then sue the mesh company. Just watch the news any day and you will see an ad for an ambulance chaser...sorry Marshall :p
I recall something about that. At one point I understood I was in the clear on that one. I'm hoping my mesh stays in place and together. If only they used duct tape like I asked it wouldn't be a concern.

I have a Darkglass Microtubes 500V2 that I've been using for about a year with my 410. I really like it, but now I want all the other DG amps too.
They seem really interesting. I've never played one. But have to fight the disease of wanting about one of every amp. I can't justify another head. But am glad I snagged the Ashdown I didn't really need. Seems to be coming in as more handy than I thought.

…Or maybe four if you’d like those wide range humbuckers in a NR Bird body…

…why stop there, they sound great in a semi hollow as well.
The bird in the middle is still in progress, if it sounds half as good as the Tele on the right it’ll be a roaring success. God I love those wide range humbuckers! In my book tied for first along with Greco Tbird humbuckers.

With you there. I have the SVT and the two Mesas. At some point down the line, I’ll probably add a GKrb just ‘cause. But I certainly don’t need another head.

The only problem is where I can find those pickups? Originals are way too pricey.

The Fender Vintage Modified Tele (or whatever that two WR 'bucker bass was called) has the pickups a bit too wide apart to my liking. Move either pickup closer to each other and I would own one already.

Not saying your basses don't look great 'cause they do!
