Gibson/Epi.I was also reliving my Statics class (not statistics) and can't see how a downward force across all 4 saddles could ever cause the center two to rise or the outer 2 to sink.

Frank's smile is still there.you never got a ride!..
I think that is now four on here who have encountered a curved three point. I don’t get how it happened either. Just weird.I agree with the bovine excrement assessment.
They are set with radius to match the radius of the fingerboard
Probably. But I still like mine.nothing against them, of the opinion a whole lot of the SVT allure is of nostalgic nature…they became irrelevant when PA systems grew past just amplifying vocals imho…..on paper, they are just another fairly flat (when not using the funny little switches), heavy, 300 Watt tube amplifier…yes, the 810 has its own mojo but so did other enclosures of the period…
I've driven one modern-ish(rental)car with a manual transmission. I shifted the 18 wheelers w/o the clutch-once you get rolling. Cars apparently have an interlock that prevents that. Booo! No fun.Happily, Chuck has taken care of owning a car so fine, it's good thing too as I can't even drive a car with a manual transmission.![]()
I still like my Kasino-it sounds great. But, let us know how much you like it if you start gigging it.Probably. But I still like mine.

I was wondering if the JC did that and maybe the Epi I had (or still have somewhere) was just a production mixup. Or an intentional “close enough” decision when grabbing the part.I think the one on my black Casady has a bit of radius on the bottom. I don't think it is affecting the A and D string heights.
If yours is a problem, it wouldn't cost much to get another 3 point. There's probably somebody here or in the SG/EB with extras in their parts collection.
Oh it ain’t leaving the basement. Unless I take it to a shop for something. I’m not that insane to transport it for gigging.I still like my Kasino-it sounds great. But, let us know how much you like it if you start gigging it.![]()

I don't know how you knew that, but there you have it. What a story.Victoria Vetri's Playmate of the Month present!.....![]()
Not all cars have that interlock. No motorcycles have that interlock. Not that I would know ....I've driven one modern-ish(rental)car with a manual transmission. I shifted the 18 wheelers w/o the clutch-once you get rolling. Cars apparently have an interlock that prevents that. Booo! No fun.
$200 in 1975 equals $1,182.07 in 2024I remember when those along with Mustangs were the cheapest basses in the monthly Guitar Trader flyer from the 70’s…..they would literally go for about 200 bucks….
But Frank.....?Happily, Chuck has taken care of owning a car so fine, it's good thing too as I can't even drive a car with a manual transmission.![]()
ALLIED FORCES
I don't know how you knew that, but there you have it. What a story.
The documentary about them is great. It got to see them after their first album. They were great. I love Mike's playing and tone.
Absolutely. We needed more space in the trailer on one run so I did an Aguilar Tone Hammer and 2 112 cabinets. Half the time I would just run one. Guitar player went with an AC15 on that one.I know a guy who plays arenas and uses a 45 amp. And they use wedges not IEMs, and he can hear his amp and cab.
Yeah, there’s some truth to that. I’ve only ever seen or dealt with bent Eppi three points, never seen a bent Gibby bridge. All this talk of ultimate amps has made me tired... Just kidding...
The three point bridge in my Classic Pro, it's got a radius to it. I know a guy who owns a guitar shop in town and he says they don't start out that way, but get distorted over time due to the tension of the strings. Is there any truth to that?
I'm mulling over whether to spend on a new bridge or not.
Yes it is. I've watched it a couple of times and will do so again one day.The documentary about them is great.
