Pretty much everything sounds beastly through the amp lurking in the background. I don't know if that one is an especially good 360 stack or if all of them from back when sound like that. I would say I'll get buried with that EB-2, but it would be a horrible waste of a perfectly good musical instrument. It has to stick around.

I think a lot of us want to relive our youth.Always been my point with '55-57 Chevy's, Camaros, most any Chevy really, Mustangs.... They were the most common and plentiful cars around, yet are some of the most valuable. Certainly not because of rarity. In the case of cars, so many had them and want them again. Not to mention having so many was kind of like additional free advertising. Obviously all those cars did look good and gained a huge following. At some level everything is a bit of a "monkey see, monkey do thing" I suppose. One guy has an AMX, now every body wants an AMX!Everybody should want an AMX by the way.

Don’t count on it. But doesn’t concern me. I have no desire to have a vintage Fender. Although at times I wish I still had my old ‘68 Mustang.
They were, after all, just Falcons with nicer looking sheet metal.
It was a SoCal thing.Well, as they say - take out the bass in a song and it falls apart. I was simply attempting to describe why a vintage Fender guitar/bass is sought after and priced as they are. I personally don't care to get tribal about the instruments I play.
Cars & Fender guitars were always linked in some ways.
It’s all relative. I used to lay in bed as a kid listening to the Art Lebow’s Oldies but Goodies show. In 1970, anything before the Beatles was an oldie.
I don't care about vintage FSO prices. Vintage Thunderbirds are another matter.
