I like League as well. But I have to say union has improved immensely as a spectacle.

Perfect. drool
Yeah, it actually disappears when I use 'active' on passive basses - at any volume. Wrote GK about it already.

A polarity check in your good-to-watch wiring required methinks ... or I'll have to send Dan Carter around to sort you out.
@Gaolee 'union rules rugby' - never heard it referred to as that. in the states and territories where they are traditionally played here (NSW, QLD and ACT) they are referred to as 'union' and 'league' ... and then annoyingly the rest of the country calls them both 'rugby'. Then again, the game they play out there in the forbidden zone (VIC, SA, WA, TAS and NT) is truly unwatchable.
I agree with you there. And they don't have enough player bad behaviour incidents....oh wait there, yes they do.
Yes, you see clips of onfield violence on the news and the question is why the hell were they not arrested for assault, cos if it were you or me, we'd be in court.
You probably call soccer by some other name, too. Us barbarians have our regional ways, y'know. I have heard it called union rules and rugby union. Or just rugby, because we play American football instead of rugby league. It all makes for sore places.@Gaolee 'union rules rugby' - never heard it referred to as that. in the states and territories where they are traditionally played here (NSW, QLD and ACT) they are referred to as 'union' and 'league' ... and then annoyingly the rest of the country calls them both 'rugby'. And no offside rule, but knock ons are allowedAnd then there's Aussie rules football where you get a point for attempted murder and more points for successful murder. That's a game I could never quite fathom.
True fact: I experience severe distress to the point of physical pain when I see the 's'-word. Please stop it. It's football, fútbol, fotball, Fußball, fótbolta, футбол, voetbal, futebol etc.
Thats the only sport where you can jump through the air and karate kick a guy in the chest during play, plus the goal judges are always dressed in tidy white suits. And no offside rule, but knock ons are allowed
. Seriously though, I thought rugby was brutal until I saw Aussie Football.Hey, if I had this prob I'd definitely try toothpicks as I've done that plenty of times with strap pins. If that didn't work I'd probably try locktite then after that, drill a hole through the bottom of the insert and screw the damn thing in.Drill out, dowels and wood glue, flush cut and re-drill... not real sophisticated, but a careful job and not for a dabbler- well not on your nice 'Bird, anyway!
A little bread, a nice job. Looking good.
It is soccer to most here though. Even the National team is the Socceroos
