Thunderbird Club

That bear on your bottles looks like the one that broke into my mountain house. The second to last repair project will be done Friday. The electric mats were installed a few weeks ago (from Tahoe Bearbusters). And they work; I forgot and stepped on one wearing only thick wool socks. Yikes! Yogi and Boo Boo will not like them at all if they come back.

Just what you want, a pissed off bear :roflmao:

No, that would be Drinking Day (12/25).
Drinking Day would be the analogue of Christmas Day (emptying the packages). Bottling Day (putting things in the packages) is (somewhat) the opposite of Boxing Day (getting rid of the empty packages). Clearly we both need a drink.

Ears ringing bad......

We had our U3A concert and lunch today. The various study? groups did a performance of sorts.
The Uke group I attend did 4 songs:
Sloop John B
Doo Ron Ron
Eight Days a Week
Blame it on the Ukulele.
Then we threw in Silent Night as a nod to the season.
Eight Days a Week is quite effective on Uke, and good fun. It’s reset at each chord being one down from the guitar to the Uke. C instead of D etc.

Went to a local bar for lunch after. I think they were overwhelmed. No cutlery when I picked up my lunch so I asked about it. Got a steak knife but no fork which I again questioned. The bloke gave me a spoon! For steak sandwich and chips… never seen that before!
