They were the best cases. The ‘05 Studio case has the same covering.I'm guessing all 2013s had the black case with white interior. Both my Reverse and NR have it.

That’s some Jeff level tarnish. So we played a gig this past Saturday night and midway through the fifth song, I stopped getting sound from the E & A string.
I realized that the mounting screw was backing out and the spring was pushing the pickup into the bottom of the the strings.
I was able to press the pickup down into the cavity and twist the screw lower with my fingers and finish the set.
I opened up the bass to glue and fill the screw holes with some additional wood and also found that the pickup cover separated from the pickup!
Out came the soldering iron and it was fixed. I had switched these covers back 2018 as they originally came in black.

When you only have one Thunderbird and it gets the majority of your playing time over 8-ish years, it gets dirty…..That’s some Jeff level tarnish.
Ok my friend. I’m not sure which Thunderbird you’re using about. Can you refresh us on the pickups and config? So we played a gig this past Saturday night and midway through the fifth song, I stopped getting sound from the E & A string.

perhaps..:..
Same here. My #1 for 11 years. Sure, I have the RNR, but it just isn't nearly as enjoyable to play. When you only have one Thunderbird and it gets the majority of your playing time over 8-ish years, it gets dirty…..![]()
Yup.No doubt what Leon when BIG and LOW and didn't try to cut through anything. Surround sound for the band. He had 3 guitars, singer, keys, backup singers, drums. Everything but horns to navigate.
And right there is the problem. Birds need flocks to be healthy. When you only have one Thunderbird and it gets the majority of your playing time over 8-ish years, it gets dirty…..![]()
I confess, I enjoyed that and watched twice. I don't like to see animals hurt so maybe I was envisioning lawn and alarm sales people who can't read the "no solicitation" sign or keep pushing when you tell them you are good and have it covered.
Oh no!
Big stories today!
