VP/60s/64 sighting. Dead Boys in Queens, NY. This guy films a lot of local shows. I just wish he'd pick up more low end. There's practically none.

So how would you compare them to EBCF sound wise?I've found them for sub $20 several times. I actually like them a bit more than EBCF for feel, but definitely a different sound. I have them on my VP and Willbird and strongly considering them for the 64 Gibby.
Darker. Low/low mid. Of course, EQ can shift that a bit. But my EBCF is with TB+ and SIT is with 760s and SDs.So how would you compare them to EBCF sound wise?
A five string guitar. Nice! The prettiest guitar I’ve owned was a cherry burst 2003 G&L Legacy Tribute (Premium). Great guitar. When I realized my switch to bass was permanent I sold my electric guitars except my very first. I don’t have a photo that does it justice.

I didn't get that good off a price, but still about $8 cheaper than I've seen. So I figured it was a good time to jump in.I've found them for sub $20 several times. Yes. Sound just doesn't bounce around and you have a battle of the freqs like many/most places.Maple Monday?.....from Sat, outdoor gigs can sound so much better...

All my strings are 45/105. Power Flats feel like the same tension as EBCF and slightly more tension that the Power Steel.I didn't get that good off a price, but still about $8 cheaper than I've seen. So I figured it was a good time to jump in.
Do you find them stiff? I saw where some said they were and others said they were not or were flexible--typical interwebs incoherence.
She was always shedding her g string.A five string guitar. Nice!
Interesting. I find TB+ pups to be inherently darker than 760’s. So if your SIT bass with 760’s is darker than your TB+ bass with EBCF then those SIT strings must be noticeably darker than the cobalts. I might have to try a set of the SITs on my Lull 5 assuming I can get a 35” five string set. I’m looking to darken its sound up a bit.Darker. Low/low mid. Of course, EQ can shift that a bit. I have no issue with digitizing my signal, but I don't need to. I just take whatever amp makes sense for the gig.Absolutely, each has to do what they have to do to dig their sound, fortunately for me, these efforts never require any digitizing for processing....
I'm pretty sure my G30 wireless puts an analog>digital>analog conversion right at the beginning of my signal chain.till the comparator....
