Kinda not understanding this one. The TT produces plenty of overdrive, depending on settings, speakers, etc., although colored with the bit of bloom from the trithube preamp. So running my Classic Pro Thunderbird into my Mesa TT-800, into headphones from that amplifier produces strong overdrive, but with the lower output 'Heckinhecker' (Ric pups and harness) does not. I guess that's just the way of it...
Certainly not since i was under 25!Miles, you've never looked better!

The difference in output between those two basses is notable. I have found the output of the Classic Pro to be pretty hot.Kinda not understanding this one. The TT produces plenty of overdrive, depending on settings, speakers, etc., although colored with the bit of from the trithube preamp.
Well, I know you’re kidding. He’s a good friend with a “distorted“ sense of humor at times. Like all of us.don't worry Will....no one really pays attention to Dave....
Showster guitar:Fluted sounds interesting. Do you have a photo example of this?
So you never buttoned shirts back in the day. So Miami Vice.

My quest for one that chooses me will continue. Martin played one on the early albums. And of course there’s Squire. McCartney played one, although it never sounded like one on the albums. An iconic California classic that I’ll own one of these days.In '77 all of that was about 40 years in the future![]()
It got better, but I still miss the Ricky.

Yep. Belongs a part of every Thunderbird player’s flock.Played this bass again at rehearsal last night, a good set of TB Plus is really impressive, would not trade these out for any others.
