Wrong Nikki?
Uh, I don’t think so

I wouldn't do either of those. Where they are from the factory has worked fine for me.Quick question for you TBird gurus: would you recommend moving the strap buttons? I’ve seen people make two changes that look interesting: (1) on the bottom/bridge side: moving the button several inches above the body centerline; and (2) moving the button from the back (where a bolt on neck plate would be) to the top/frontfacing edge. Thanks!
Same here, there was never a need for me on my TBird.I wouldn't do either of those. Where they are from the factory has worked fine for me.
did she turn you on to TBirds?
I put a flush mount (Dunlop) about the same distance from the bottom pin as the input jack but on the other side.

Great thing is it’s not really noticeable when no strap attached.

Good point. The 60s "cases" were barely cases. They were horrible. Some people have blamed breaks on the way the neck was supported in 60s & 70s cases. A pressure point if the case was dropped, or somethin along those lines. The newer cases design might make this theory seem accurate.
One of none...And it's from the future. Seems like a deal.
@TBird1958
you think they may still have this?

Reinforced. Martin was why I always wanted one.did she turn you on to TBirds?
Not at all they were special order.we're all G&Ls mahogany bodied?
That’s tempting.I put a flush mount (Dunlop) about the same distance from the bottom pin as the input jack but on the other side.

Well, she turns him on …did she turn you on to TBirds?
And THAT, friends and neighbors, is called "nailing it blind from pure luck."that was the original intention, glad I checked....
chicken fried steak at the Five Point Cafe....YOU'RE ON!!!I seems to have sold, but I invite you to fly up for a weekend of touring the shops and good food - Raw Oysters are mandatory
That still proved to be an expensive visit as it cemented my obtaining an EB-3, which I dearly love. There were some cool Guild Hollowbodies at The Bass Shop last week! and I see cool stuff on Mike and Mike's, plus we could take your '64 here: Riggio Custom Guitars and get a refin started.

I've got a G&L book, but don't recall any discussion. Do you know what the thinking was about offering or using Mahogany from that time? Had they stopped by the time you started working there? Not at all they were special order.
Classic beauty.I put a flush mount (Dunlop) about the same distance from the bottom pin as the input jack but on the other side.
