And I just finished my 1960 EB-GB build. Sounds like only a vintage EB can - ground shaking sub lows. Blended in with the Goth pickups it picks up a lot of articulation and note definition without losing that slathered on EB Mudbucker bottom end. Fun build, running it through its paces now (watching my Bergantino HT322 speakers carefully, this thing has some massive subsonic lows).
(Yes the tuners are dead straight, the E looks wonky with the camera angle and reflections)
And of course a nod to Jack Bruce…
Wired vol/tone stack for each pickup, LP 3 way toggle (EB in Cream position, Goth in Sugar position, Both in center detent), latching kill switch. EBCF strings, sounds glorious.
So why is it still available?....been wanting one of these forever....

Not much new to me there but an interesting synopsis.
IIRC, when Leon first heard that Ronnie was looking for him, he jumped on his bike and took off, assuming Ronnie wanted to beat him ip for some reason. (Ronnie was a brawler.)
Transformers! More than meets the eye.
99% efficiency, try that with any SS tech....experts claim the tube sound comes from the transformer, not the tubes......came out looking almost factory...

AFAIR, I haven’t had PBR since my buddy and I bought a case at the BX at Lakenheath AFB in England for a trip across the channel to France. It was like $3.00. We dusted that off real quick and drank wine for two weeks in France. ‘83. And definitely good times. We were chaperones for a group of HS grads on a trip down the Gorges de l'Ardèche. What happened in France stays in France.
