It's easier to do than describe and a lot less hassle than a three point IMO. I can usually preset all four string saddles and have the intonation spot on without further adjustment. When I do have to loosen strings in an intonation procedure I detune a set number of half turns so I know how to get back to pitch very quickly. Like many things it gets easier the more you do it.I kinda figured that, but how do you move the saddle back and forth?
Do you need to loosen the strings, reposition the saddle with your fingers to an imaginary spot and then tune up the strings to check the intonation is right - And then do it all over again if the intonation is still off?
That seems quite cumbersome to me.
