A "power trio" is the ultimate band. Guitar (or keys, or sax, or other lead instrument) bass and drums. Every configuration is based on this, but it's also the most direct, freest form of intent/purpose. A band w/o bass and drums is something else. (some sort of conceptual construct) Three tenors?

Stoned Jesus, Sleep, and Slothrust are some true power trios as opposed to some suggestions you've received who have actually recorded multiple guitar tracks and had touring guitarists.

So, I want a backup head and want to dump my TE 200w combo amp. There is an SVT CL about 45 minutes from me and was thinking of seeing if it was worth it to trade the TE against the SVT. They are asking 1000.00. There is a Peavey VB2 on eBay that isn't getting much movement at 365$ plus 50$ shipping. The VB only is 225w while the SVT is 300w. Which one would you go for?

I use Photobucket and noticed a poopiee tonne of pop up ads (almost to the point of making the site unusable) and then being directed to pay for a membership that would delete the ads. Not going there. Last time I payed to be on a website ad free they added ads back in a year later.

In light of the fact that I may never be able to post from photobucket again here's what might be my final tribute to the magnificent Thunderbird in all its golden glory...
