Back in the late 60's -I saw a local trio (drums, B3, bass) where the bass player played a Tele bass through a 360 and I wanted that rig! There was no way I could afford one (I think they were around $1000 new) and my high-school 'combo' never played huge spaces anyway. (I had a servicable Heathkit 2X15 Solid State amp-it sounded like crap but what did I know back then?) When Acoustic did the more recent RI - it was still out of my price range and the clubs I play are very manageable with a 2X10 or 4X10 cab, and besides where would I have space to store that monster? So it's one of those "admire from afar" kinda things.![]()
It's sort of like me having no business with an 8x10 in a studio apartment......
Space can always be made, get rid of the "good china" cabinet, there's space for a 360/361, get rid of your fridge and put an Ampeg 'Fridge in that spot. Pictures on the wall are a waste of Thunderbird space, get more wall hangers for more Thunderbirds. Space can always be made
