Honestly haven't had a chance to use it yet. I got it in college and the landlord didn't allow mini fridges and by the time I moved back home we moved to the new house, which the basement is currently unfinished. I'll try and find a spot for it this week.
And eventually acquired a PorscheGeeze - by 1986 I had already been engaged 4 times, married twice, divoriced once, had two kids in school and had bought my third house - and I wasn't even 30 yet.
. Dude this sounds like a "how to and how not to do things" book for the young men entering the real world. Know any publishers?.

A sounds a whole lot more detailed now. The Chinabucker sounds muted and your description of it sounding "shy" comes across this time. Interesting that the Thunderbucker sounds more detailed in light of Damien's comments about output. You can really hear the stronger bass this time around. I thought the Chinabucker also sounded muted at the top end, realtive. Once again, I'm listening through auxiliary comuter speakers, which are better than the little rattleboxes that are in the laptop, but aren't very good.

Portly! LOL, I just saw a new Sammy Hagar's Rock N Roll Road Show episode where he interviewed Vince, you would never know it was him...he has far surpassed portly, but he earned it ;-)
I throw away just about every box that comes with some new toy. There are a few exceptions, but those exceptions are just because whatever that toy is will be stored in the box most of the time. I have a box to build for the trio of Sure 333 microphones, but that's an entirely different issue and is a sign of anal retentive geekdom, not some kind of cardboard or plywood fetish like the guy who started the box thread.
I saw that tour Doc, its great and sad at the same time for many reasons. Its all history now! Some of there reasons for hanging it up were on point, I can relate, except for one, one big one...they said they were tired of playing the same songs for so long...I can appreciate that...BUT...those are the songs that made them multimillionaires, and if the people wanna pay to hear them again...stop whining and play 'em loud and hard like the first time it earned you a check...I'm just saying ;-)
