Thunderbird Club

They have some good tunes and are good live plus they're Canadian. Danko Jones, another Canadian band, are love em or hate em, but great energy live, even at a small venue that was anything but packed.

"I Hate My Life" is a good Theory of a Deadman tune
"Legs" by Danko Jones is a decent song
Didn't know ToaDM was Canadian. That's great news, offsets the bad mojo emanated from Bieber, Nickleback and Young. Never heard of Danko Jones before but I'll give em a try, thx for the heads up!

Dude you are now in possession of a Thunderbird and that is the common denominator all of us share, we are a Club, Union, Gang, Cult, Family. You and I are also inspired by the works and teachings of Frank Zappa. These two common denominators provide more than enough that I shall believe and have faith in you, even without pictures of proof. From my heart I thank you ever so kindly sir, you you done me proud.

Between my cousin absolutely freaking out, and the dog having no clue what I was doing. I'm lucky I didn't have to hitch hike the rest of the way home.
You had to be there, it was really ugly.

I don't dislike Green Day, but I agree with GBassNorth WRT the singing. But I do enjoy imitating the singing, and it is even more annoying if you do a Johnny Rotten English accent. And this lead to a discovery on my part.

I listen to a wide variety of music with my daughter (Little Steven's Underground Garage on Sirius XM is a goldmine). I started singing the beginning of Basket Case (do you have the time, to listen to me whine) after we heard it on LSUG. She now doesn't like Green Day. Thinking back, we never listened Frozen again after I started singing along (with slightly altered lyrics for comic effect) and there are other examples. So I have the ability to censor her music transparently by just singing along. Although I realize that this will not last forever, it could allow me to remain sane a few years longer.
This is an elegant, albeit awful, solution. Someday the two of you will have a good laugh over it I suppose...

While we're on the topic of fun lyrics and love em or hate em bands, here's another one of my favorite bands to cover (with bonus TBird content)...

Check out their other clips... "I Lied about Everything" and "The Bitch Came Back" (Warning NSFW)

I love that band, seen them a few times, and going to see them at a club in Detroit in October. They sound great live, and they're songs all have a sarcastic tone them, it's a Canadian thing maybe.
