I agree with bylar, your problem sounds like the output jack. After years of using Monster brand cables I switched over to a cheaper plant waves cable. Apparently the Monster end is larger than the planet waves end and it had stretched out the pin end of the Jack just enough that I constantly got popping and scratching sounds from it. You might try a quick and easy fix by physically bending the pin end of the jack towards center to see if that solves the problem. If not, replace the jack.

Not a fan of Monster anything, to colored and exaggerated sounding.
I could try your recommendation, it's a Mogami cable, pretty stiff, hard to bend.

Eeesh, you mean the output jack. Even something as simple is that i could ruin.

My roomie worked at Gibson for almost a decade. He said they did a very small run of reversed headstock TBirds that were never sold. I could be misremembering, but I believe they never received any orders for them. That was many years back so they were probably cut up.

Well it is true that "in general" guitars are more prone to going flash - they are the peacocks of rock string-players. I dig blocks but don't own a single bass with them as aesthetically I just prefer dots, or nothing on the fb. Finishes (body/neck/hs) are another thing and I'm all for diversity in those departments!

I think all the finishes should be available on all models.

I like Rickenbacker's triangles, and Aria's ovals. I think T-birds could look cool with ovals or something.
