I dunno, my 370 sounds loud and awesome. But visually, it's black and baby blue.... err.... ACC blue :roflmao:

Oh, they sure get loud! A 370 is an improvement on an Ampeg to my ears. And, to be perfectly accurate, I ran the 370 through a 408 cabinet instead of a 301 as ACC intended. That may be the problem. ACC equipment always worked better with cabinets it was designed for. More or less. I ended up in a practice space at one point, and they had some kind of Ampeg stack there. I brought the 370, but they let me use the Ampeg. It sounded OK. Then I plugged the 370 into the Ampeg cabinets, and it sounded fantastic. Far better than the Ampeg amp. So maybe a 370 just doesn't get along with a 408 cabinet.

But, given the choice, I would go for a 360 stack first, then a 320/408, then a 370/301. Not given the choice, I would happily play through any of 'em.

I'm a believer of matching cabs and amps, mainly brands, but models too, to a degree. I wouldn't want to run my Strategy through a Subway cab. I also didn't run my Mesa through my 301, except to test the cab.

A 360/361 is definitely on my list, along with a vintage Ampeg V4b stack, the 215 folded horn. There was a stack couple hours from me for $800, mint head and cab, but I was an hour late.

Ha! I love the look of those old ACC cabs, but I prefer to roll my own. A sealed 218 with a couple mid drivers is about the finest thing thing I’ve ever heard for what I like

I’m watching an Epi NR T’Bird atm. The P J sort of bothers me (not as much as the seller ignoring me for 3 weeks tho).
I’m torn between it being a good P for me or over time turning it to a Chinabucker NR.

I’ve heard talk that they sound good as are, so I’d hasten slowly and just see. I’ll check @Dadagoboi ‘s previous post about routing on Js and Jags, see if ITD work on PJ.

I think @hillerup has a flock of them.

The P's on the pick guard (scratch plate), right? No problem, just need a new one. Doesn't matter what it looks like underneath.

I would have no interest whatsoever if the seller had no interest in me. Sounds like fate giving you the heads up on this transaction. Good luck with what you decide Dude, be careful.
