Thunderbird Club

For anyone tuning in late I will apologize for how many times you may have read "Thanks Bro!:) cheers-emoji.png" as you were trying to catch up. Catching up?, :laugh: yeah right, good luck with that. Its about honor and respect. Im the kind of guy that would be standing in the parking lot signing autographs long after the janitor went home.

Ya know... it occurs to me (and forgive me if it's already been thunk of)... I bet an upright shaped like an NR could be realized more easily...

I have a feeling I would like a T Bird shaped upright about as much as I’d like an upright shaped T Bird

Yeah... I know! That's part o' the allure, ya maple suckin' hockey-toothed lumberjack ya:woot::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:
Duuuude!!!!, I went to the dentist for my annual cleaning the other day, this is how it went down exactly.
Dentist - Glancing at my lumber jacket hanging up says " I used to have one of those in high school".
Me - All serious " Me too".........:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

The stuff I play now has very little in common. Well, aside from having a mediocre bass player. Nothing I do on bass or drums is much like metal. Then again, one band in particular is next to impossible to categorize. We do everything from straight ahead rockabilly to Amy Winehouse songs turned inside out with a bowed bass, no synth, and a noisy guitar. We were talking about twisting a Metallica song into what we do. So, there's the start to a metal career.

As far as a downtuned, 'Bird shaped upright, I might have to hang out with the luthiers for a long time before figuring out how to do that. It would be pretty outrageous. It would also have to be Cadillac Burgandy Mist. Just because a metallic pink bass shaped like that and that sounds like that would be even harder for a normal person to comprehend.
An NR shaped upright in Burgundy Mist Metallic with cream binding all around (including F-holes) *snap*snap* "MAKE IT SO!

Hey, ya got nothin on Northern Kentucky...
Thirty minutes south of Cincinnati is the town of Beaver Lick and 5 minutes past that is Big Bone Lick state park and Sugar Tit Kentucky. All just around the corner from Rabbit Hash Kentucky. I kid you not. :jawdrop:

Now I want to visit Kentucky...

For more than Bowling Green and the Derby

Sorry...deep into the death drive to Soith Dakota. 80 miles south of Council Bluffs. Jealous yet?
I'll never envy you the drive or the destination, you are, sir, a courageous man!

Are you friggin' kidding?! Damn!. I googled Thunderbird Upright Bass in images and on the first page near the top left I find our Queen @TBird1958
