Finally hit South Dakota, but have a ways to go yet. Was looking on the Nashville CL and saw an SVTII non pro for $900. Getting warmer. When I was a kid, the Mesa 400+ and the SVTII np were two of my favorite amps. Looks to be in nice shape too

We’re at the end of the year, and the band is now doing nothing until 2018, so I thought i’d Leave you with one of our more bass-driven tunes. Sadly this has me on most vocals, but we’re not bad for three old farts!

YES! I love road trips!!!

Two summers ago, I took the family on a 2 week, 6000 mile cross country adventure that included Sioux Falls, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Great Salt Lake, San Francisco, LA, Tucson, Lincoln, St. Louis and home again. Lots of stops along the way as well when something caught our eye like the decommissioned Nuke silos in New Mexico.

I want to do it again but with other waypoints.

Hey, ya got nothin on Northern Kentucky...
Thirty minutes south of Cincinnati is the town of Beaver Lick and 5 minutes past that is Big Bone Lick state park and Sugar Tit Kentucky. All just around the corner from Rabbit Hash Kentucky. I kid you not.

Also deep in KY is a place called Knob Lick. Someone in KY liked "licking" a lot!!

I don’t have Lent off from school. If we do go this year, earliest it’ll be is probably fall.


Thanks original plan was to trailer our 67 Charger no Tenessee, the take that to New Orleans and everywhere in between. But that car still isn’t done.

Not trying to be a downer but I would want any car that I'm taking on a road trip to be super reliable... perhaps a rethink on the '67 unless you can get it trailered a bit further south... like Louisiana.

Coming back from Ohio once with the 72 in an enclosed trailer, it was actually the truck that broke down! My cousin came to pick us and the trailer up.
My dad had to go back the following week to pickup the truck.

We’ll probably take the wagon though. Which is almost dead reliable.

A buddy of mine last night who should know better came up to say how much he loved my T Bird. He also said he wasn’t sure he could handle the weight and neck dive, which is why his RD Artist is up for sale. I told him my bass was under 9lbs and doesn’t neck dive and he seemed astounded.
