YES! I love road trips!!!

Two summers ago, I took the family on a 2 week, 6000 mile cross country adventure that included Sioux Falls, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Great Salt Lake, San Francisco, LA, Tucson, Lincoln, St. Louis and home again. Lots of stops along the way as well when something caught our eye like the decommissioned Nuke silos in New Mexico.

I want to do it again but with other waypoints.

A trip well documented on FB that was enjoyed by more than a few of us couch road trippers! :)

Google. The 'rats' are muskrats.

I was kinda hoping for Pi-rates. Oh well.

Not a bad idea!

I thought about it, but then I compared what I make right now vs what I can START at after finishing my degree, and realized I'd be giving up an a 30-40% likely boost in my income for Lent. Which still won't be enough to buy Gibsons. :greedy::greedy:

Wonder if Epiphone does non celebrity endorsements, because I would totally qualify.:D

SWEET!
This year my family and I were going to take the wagon to New Orleans for my 21st Birthday, but school and work got in the way.
You don't want to have to deal with a car in NOLA. Not because there's any problem driving, but after being there for a while, driving can become a problem.

Quick buzz in, no-catching-up clause engaged!...
My humble Thundermutt (Nikki Sixx Bkackbird chassis w/ Goth neck, that courtesy of Michael Hillerup) brought the goods last night. A single Deep Sixx p'up in the sweet spot, strung with Black Beauties 105s. Crate BT 350 head into my DIY'd 210 loaded with Eminence BP 102 10" drivers, SansAmp VT pedal. Serial Killer rig.
Seriously smokin' sounds. I like my little rig, and I love playing my bass. Don't need anything at all.

Ok, back to work. :)

I’m watching an Epi NR T’Bird atm. The P J sort of bothers me (not as much as the seller ignoring me for 3 weeks tho).
I’m torn between it being a good P for me or over time turning it to a Chinabucker NR.

I’ve heard talk that they sound good as are, so I’d hasten slowly and just see. I’ll check @Dadagoboi ‘s previous post about routing on Js and Jags, see if ITD work on PJ.

I think @hillerup has a flock of them.

I don't have any Epi NR's or other basses with a PJ configuration, so I can't be of any help there...

Are we talking about Kevin "Black Daddy" Black? If so, he's one of my very favorite players. Great touch, great tone and, by all accounts, a great dude who always hangs around after the gig to meet fans and answer questions.

Very possibly talking about Kevin, who is very possibly a fantastic dude :)
