Ahh I see, good thing we have this club of Ahr's, I would have never known otherwiseEither one. It depends on how you swallow it into the back of your throat. That's one of those things only a rural American can do without permanent damage.
Then i could finally get out of NYC and move to OZ?
At least I'm not the only one that thinks that way!YES! 2 x 412.
Typo- 2 X 212s! LOL.
It's full of dickheads mate (present company excepted). You are better off in Portland.
LOL! Was just looking at the Neo 212... will check out the 412 too. Also looking at Ampeg 212AV on recommendation here.
Nah, you'd be treated like Alaska and Hawaii. All sorts of shipping rules apply differently to them.Should just become the 51st state and be done with it, at least we'll get cheap bass gear! It's the least we should expect in return for the destruction of our language.

I have a 4 ohm GK Neo 410 and 2 X 8 Ohm GK Neo 412s- gives me lot's of flexibility.
The 212AV may be a bit expensive, then again you do live in the land of stupidly cheap gear....
When I was first trying to get my head around ‘the ohms thing’ I was told there was less noticeable volume increase (improvement?) by using the 1x 4 ohm cab vs 1x 8 ohm cab; more by just using 2x 8 ohm cabs and that the 2x 4 ohm cab is ruled out on many amps.
Then of course there are those Hartke cabs that are switchable between 4 & 8 ohms.
I finally decided that I wanted to build towards the Bassman 100T with 2x Rumble 115s. Which went out the window when my Eminar arrived. Seemed pointless to have 2 100w valve amps in the house for a hobbyist.
But you never know what will present itself at an opportune moment in the future. Just needs to be wide enough to sit my amp/s on top.![]()
Speaking of Hartke... what kind of reputation do their cabs have? Been trying to research them online.
You mean ahwl. You have to be uh'murr'c'n to be able to say that. Learn to talk right and you can be the 51st state with cheap gear. Get on it! It takes practice, effort, and time. That and 'oil'.
