Stage manager insisted bass players and drummers use provided backline. I have a world class bass rig a few feet away, but sure, I’ll play through ‘Baby’s First Ampeg’ to spare you the 5 seconds it’ll take to move a mic and DI line
"Sir, if you had a backline, I would happily consider it. But yours seems to have wandered off."

Getting there... spent a few.minutes at my friend's shop, made a control plate out of the old pickguard. Gotta hit the beveled edges with a little wet-sanding, to get the white-ish burr out... I did the bevelling with a hand plane, wich I guess might do that to soft plastic.

But she's gittin' done!View attachment 2892535 View attachment 2892536
Dude... THAT thing is gonna be a BEAST!!!:thumbsup:

Please welcome Tooned as club #702 with a gorgeous white Epiphone Vintage Pro (we have the same great taste!), feel free to pull up a chair and join in here!

Thanks TBird1958... #702 it is!!

I was swapping strings and cleaning the new VP so thought i could post some pics of the innards of it for the club to see.
Out of the box the intonation was spot on. Neck relief was great too. Just the bridge needed to be lowered a smidge on the G string side. However the E string side was good. The nut is a tiny bit high just on the E string.
You can maybe notice the bridge and tailpiece are a little bit crooked. There's a bit of brown glue under the pick guard that wouldn't come off but completely hidden when the guard is on... At this price, that doesn't bug me in the least. She still looks fancy!
