Thunderbird Club

Ok, I know this has been discussed but I am still confused. WHY is Epiphone bringing out tribute/reissues such as the Epiphone Thunderbird Vintage Pro, but Gibson won't, and it was originally a Gibson bass???

It would make perfect sense, therefore Gibson cannot do it. They've got enough problems, and having basses that would sell would only make things better.

If you ever find out, let us all know. I suspect it's one of those secrets that we would have to drag out of Henry J. using illicit methods. Even then, there might not be an answer because it might not have been thought through.

So because one of you asked for a better picture... And it is Vintage Sunday... also vintage is anything over 25 years IIRC

I (re-)present my 1986 BC Rich NJ Warlock

ANYTHING over 25 years?
now where'd I put the picks of my vintage underw... Oh, shoot. Don't have THAT pic any more. Hope y'all can live with the disappointment.

How cool is that?! Mountain being played on the Simpsons! Love Leslie West too!

The best appearance of Mississippi Queen in a TV show in my mind is still Regular Show. It was, I guess, a kids/teen show, though it was originally pitched for Adult Swim, so they have lots of pretty blatant references to drinking (brown bagging "soda", acting drunk after eating chicken wings) and other substances. My friends and I loved it in college.

Same problem for me too, using safari on my iPad Mini

It's clear that whatever the glitch is, it's server side since we are all experiencing it the same on our various devices. My desktop PC, your iPad Mini, probably someone's Android phone... anyone running UNIX or CP/M wanna chime in? Fortran? Pascal? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

Let me haul out the old PET computer to see if the problem can be duplicated on it...
