$305 wenge/ebony + $25 Hipshot ULs + $25 nut + $20 abalone inlays = $375.

The wenge would look hot.

Looks like at least one sparkplug has been replaced (good) but is not connected (bad). So, it is going to run a bit rough.

I think that’s right about the tea, I’ve never tried it but I was told that. Ground coffee works better than instant too, the weaker it is the longer it takes but you do get more control over the colouring

I have a set of Burners I need to install on my Hamer burst Bird (FBIV). I had to order them online because no one seems to carry them locally any longer. Also bought a set of Rockmasters when ordering but haven't decided which bass to use them on.

I just got done boiling and installing set of Swing Set 95s on my BaCH. What a difference this gauge change makes.
It had 102s. Never seen an instrument where a gauge change like this (not drastic; 102s to 95s) makes such a huge difference..

I'm a light gauge player to begin with. But i hear ya. The boiling didn't do anything wacky to the strings?

Can you tell us more about the difference? Feel, playability, sound, etc.
I'm still looking for the best string on my Eppi TBird VP. Tried stock (stainless round I think), Silver Stars (same as Black Beauties but silver), and am now on Cobalt Flats. I have a set of Roto rounds waiting in the wings for the next string change.
