But if there is a joint in the neck then it’s a set neck with a matching centre piece in the body only put together after joining in the same way as a through neck

You don’t get it : it’s a real neck through - but the neck heel has been shaped to appear looking like a fixed neck.

I'm more interested in the TV than anything else. Vintage CRT... put the last of ours out to the curb in 2012. Are you keeping it around to watch TV on or for something else? Just curious.

I liked having a D-tuner on my Goth but in the end, when I needed to drop tune, it required more than one string to drop. There was that rare song that just dropped D but it was just easier to have my different basses tuned differently.
