Thunderbird Club

STRONGLY approve of the nickel pickups - badazz.

My Fender-bird ( esque ) custom build ( the Warbird ) is almost complete.

A pair of stunning Thunderbucker Ranch 66 pups fitted and she's almost done.

Hey, speaking of, did I miss your show? And when is the next one? We're planning a trip to Seattle the Aug 22 weekend.

We played The Metta Room in Pt Angeles for two nights about a month ago - Much craziness, we made 2k each night plus a room the Red Lion.........Unbelievable, we are just a cover band. We're at 7 Cedars in Sequim (fantastic venue!) 7/18 I don't think we have anything booked in Aug. as of right now - if possible lets get together, come over and play a couple Thunderbirds :hyper:

Ive been to Victoria Island and had Tea at a really nice hotel, i cant for the life of me remember the name. It was right down town and super nice. What a cool place to visit and explore.

Pretty sure that's "The Empress"...........Geoffy's throwin' ya a curve too, it's Vancouver Island. A lot of the PNW was originally explored by the Englanders.

Here's one of the strangest things for me bass wise. Some dude on CL wants to buy my cheap o old rogue bass I have laying around so I had to put the harness and pups back in. So I get it all done but the J won't work. Well, there was a hot wire that appeared to jump from one tone pot to the other which doesn't at all seem right. By touching the wire it came on so I soldered it. Now, each pup works fine on its own BUT when both are on AND the lower tone is on full, it has WAH! Dialing it back reduces this and it acts like a tone pot. The other tone acts normally. I am no real electronic guy but I can certainly follow a diagram and figure things out. It really sounds cool, like it has a built in WAH! I thought, this wouldve been great in my sabbath tribute for a couple songs. I don't get it. If

So 1-10 rate my latest afternoon drinking idea. A Rickenbird. Or thunderbacker. Thunderbird construction, Rick aesthetic, bird pickups and controls. What say you club?! And if its bad I'm still out of sunburst chickens to sacrifice so take an IOU on the usual repentance rites

My custom made LDB thunderbird bass. One of its kind and I don't think he wants to make another one. She's getting some work done and Ill post pics later, but its a great bass.

Very nice!
I have to bring the list forward soon, would you like me to add you to the club?
