Im afraid that went over like a 747 dude.

Like waaaayyyyyy over!

BTW I flew over your house on the way to Europe a couple weeks back, I waved to you!

My opinion is that homeopathy is nonsense. If it was real, then distilled water would be the most dangerous and powerful medicine on the planet. I would stick to a real doctor doing real doctor stuff. If you need antibiotics and think that homeopathy will work, then good for you. But, I sure wouldn't trust it. My wife got sucked in by that stuff for a while, and it took some real problems to get the quackery out of our lives. I hate even bringing that up, because it makes me good and angry thinking about how that kind of nonsense harms people and preys upon worried people.
Agree.
There's always potentially healing effects of a proper state of mind and positive thinking and aroma therapy and chanting or whatever alternative medicine interests you. However, IMHO those if desired, should be used in conjunction with traditional medical treatments under the care of a trusted medical professional and never in place of traditional medicine.
Certainly miracles can happen with homeopathy but I'd personally rather not rely on a miracle cure when there are statically much better odds using traditional medical treatments. If you want to better your odds, feel free to use homeopathy to augment your traditional medicine. YMMV

Super off topic: I got bit pretty good this morning by a dog.
I was told to take Ledum Palustre. I did some research.
Anyone here have experience with homeopathy?

See a doctor. Either at emergency, urgent care, walk-in clinic, or you primary care physician. Don't mess around here.

Is this a dog that you know or one that is unknown to you? If it is unknown to you, there is a possibility of rabies. If it is known to you, find out if it has been immunized for rabies.

This is a puncture wound caused by teeth (obviously). These types of wounds can be very problematic. Amoungst the possible pathogens involved are gram negative anaerobic bacteria (these are the bacteria that can lead to gas gangrene) tetanus, and a wide range of pyogenic gram positive bacteria which can lead to multiple problems. The wound needs to be debrided (cleaned) and you will likely need a course of broad spectrum antibiotics.

@PillO might have some info.
But don't take any chances, see a doctor.

Thanks, when in doubt, seek medical help. Better to waste time getting an opinion than not getting the opinion and suffering disastrous consequences.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I am the one in the hospital that refers to the tentative little doses that many general practitioners use as "wimpy little homeopathic doses". I have also claimed that a homeopath is trying to kill me and as evidence offer a report that there is nothing toxic in my tap water.

This is interesting. At yesterdays band practice my guitarist spoke of wanting to get his cab off the ground because right now its not on wheels. I said to put two cinder blocks beneath but he says that he's worried about the hollow chambers in the blocks phukking with his tone. Could tone be altered that much?.

Not implying it is the case with your guitar player, but... I find it very funny that there are guitar players that apply all kinds of almost superstitious levels of care to crafting their "tone" but never change their strings.
