Hydration - not alcohol, really helps me get through 3 hours of playing. Bananas are good before hand, but I usually don't eat anything for at least 3 hours before a show - too tightly wound up, I'd barf. Pickle juice is my friend onstage for cramps.
Convertible?somehow, my HS music teacher used to fit a 3/4 upright in his..
HIYOOOOOOO!!!... He just came into it by finding out what his hand was good at doing.

Some things are better left unsaid.
You are right. Pictures or it didn't happen...
Oh right. We saw the pictures and still want proof...Like that can happen here?
The problem is much simpler than that-inherited arthritis. I listen to some of our old tapes(yes, tapes)and wonder howinahell I played That fast, pick or fingers. I s'pose if I practiced picking more, I could build up to it again but since 95%+/- of what I play is finger style, there's not much point.use your bridge cover to rest your hand on. could be your pickup cover is getting in the way..

Yeah, I go through periods when I play fingers only then others where I play the same material pick only. Strange..The problem is much simpler than that-inherited arthritis. ehemCramping happens when I'm not playing the bass too!
Saw them in Miami in '74(?)w/ guest musician Roland Kirk. Amazing and bizarre. Duke Ellington Orchestra on the same bill.
Some might consider this comedy music. I get it. All so very good.
So, not Tbird related. @Gaolee's son, and @Count Bassie, a tribute to you both. Just how it's played, Bass and horns and all the rest....
Ok, maybe i'm not hydrated enough.
Hell yeah. Now THAT'S an engine room.
